Okay, so I still don't have the art journaling right. I'm still making pictures instead of doing proper AJ. I only used 2 items not from SG.

Belle! You forgot the very first rule of Art Journaling - that nothing is wrong because it's all about YOU! And so, there truly IS no "proper" AJ and your page is perfect! :) I really like the background you blended - it's gorgeous and really depicts your color grey and what emotions it brings up in you. Your journaling and word art truly tell about what feelings the color means to you through storms and I loved reading your descriptive words. Your title is lovely and even that looks stormy and grey. And, your pictures or symbols really complete a super layout. I especially like the hint of the rainbow glimmering through the storm, which is so the personality of you I see - always finding the sun in the rain. I think you are much better at this than you realize and created an awesome page about color and feeling! Thanks for adding it to the Art Journaling Gallery. :)

Belle, this is a very believable storm page. Your journaling is personal and so great. I have always liked to take photos of storms, also when I was painting, I usually chose stormy or moody themes. Way to go, Belle!

There is definitely nothing wrong with this magnificent page, Belle! This is so beautiful and also a little haunting at the same time. The grey with that little touch of rainbow is amazing and I love your journaling and quote. It really is a masterpiece!

I think it is a great page Belle. I haven't done many AJ pages, but the rule I like best is that it's about what ever you want it to be about and there are no rules. Love the moody feeling the grey evokes, but the contrast of hope and sunny times ahead is wonderful!

Wonderful AJ page Belle. I love all your stormy background blending, but best of all I love that rainbow peaking through and the hint of the sunshine to follow the storm. Brilliant!

Belle you have certainly mastered AJ its fantastic. Love all your embelishments used. We had a cyclone over the weekend and I can relate to your sentiment to this colour and you have captured the storm feeling just perfectly

Belle....this is amazing. I cannot believe how moving this page is. I am even more inspired to try this creative mode. Having been in our boat for many storms I think this page is just so real. Your wave attacking the small boat is a very impressive feature. Wow wow wow is all I can say...amazing. As a boater I feel the messages here.

Ooooh! How very dynamic! I've always associated grey with the blah's-- You've made me see it a whole new way--dynamic an fluid and powerful. Life is so seldomly black and white--the interesting stuff is in the ethereal shadows that give us contrast. Bravo!

You put yourself down far too much, this page is terrific!! The grey is so different to mine and yet it is so RIGHT... I adore the images you have created and your journaling is wonderful. The quotes add meaning and this page s quite deep and introspective, love it!

Wonderful journaling and quotes to go along with the idea of storms and the color gray. I like all the elements and papers you combined to give the impression of a storm at sea. I think this is a fabulous AJ page!
