3/20 Th Challenge - Someting Old, Something Blue

The challenge was to make a layout about family using a quote. This is definitely a layout about family, and the title is part of a well-known phrase, "Something Old, Something New, Something Borrowed, Something Blue". I know that's stretching the rules, but I already had this layout done and it seemed to kinda sorta fit!

Journaling:

It may not look like it from this photo, but my grandma’s wedding dress was blue, not white, so she could wear it on other occasions as well.

Photos:

Background: 1932 – Rudolph and Alma Link

Foreground: 2013 – Kristine, Alma’s great granddaughter-in-law, wearing Alma’s dress

Wow, how cool for you to have that dress and for Kristine to be able to wear it, that's awesome! I really like how you showed the old and the new, and your extraction is gorgeous, Sue. I am marveling at how you combined the color and present day with the sepia and heritage pieces, wow. This is wonderful!

What a gorgeous color blue to match her eyes! I love the story behind the photos, too. Fun mix of patterns! Thanks for joining the challenge!
