Auntie and Uncle John
This is the only picture I have of my great aunt Lena, known as Auntie, and her second husband, John. It was taken on their wedding day; there is no photographer information on the frame (cardboard) or photo, but I'm guessing it was a professional. Although Lena's brother Harold, my grandfather could have taken it. I have no idea whether frames of this type were available for separate purchase. I've deduced the year from information in newspaper clippings about John, saved in Auntie's scrapbook. This date wasn't given, but his age at death and the duration of the marriage were; spring is a guess, based on the photo.
All products are from Ginny's new Softly Spoken value pack, with the help of a curve template by Melissa Renfro. I really like the border embellishment clusters, but I wanted the curve more blue than green, to pick up the bit of blue in the frame, and a smaller flower cluster, so I assembled a copy the collection embellishments. Thanks for such lovely materials to work with, Ginny.
