iNSD 2014 ScrapSimple Challenge

Thanks for the chat and challenge Tiza!

 

Use 3 different SS products (paper, embs, brush set, word art, template), and 2 different methods of coloring them (clipping papers, adjustment layers, gradients, styles)

 

Everything in the layout except for the 2 pieces of tape and photo, is a ScrapSimple product.

 

The background, border strip, and color strips are from this month's SS Club - BMU Modern Day

The sketched template is TCS SS DLO Sketchbook

The wordart is ASO SS WordArt DigiDots

Tape is SG_ABR Exuberance Nano Tape

 

I recolored using 1) hue saturation; 2) magic wand to isolate on separate layer and fill with color bucket; 3) clipped paper

The beauty of ScrapSimple is you can take all these different products and make them so cohesive. Great job recoloring all the elements using different techniques. The photo is darling!! Thanks for joining the challenge.

That is a wonderful, wonderful photo! It makes the layout, and you were wise to not let the layout elements overwhelm the photo.
