Thursday Blog Challenge 5/8/14 Gradient Tut "Luck"

Here is my layout for the Thursday Blog Challenge found HERE. I used Jode's tutorial on blending with gradients and blended the Chinese "Luck" character from a photo I took of a wall hanging. I blended onto my backgrounds using a linear gradient. Try it! :)

Journaling reads:

"Luck is what happens when preparation meets opportunity. Seneca"

What a great way to use this lovely wall hanging piece and make it personal to you, the gentle blend is symbolic too... love the Chinese red and the black ink edging. Gorgeous!

Beautiful, soft blending and I LOVE the wonderful colors! Perfect quote too. It looks like it should be in a frame on one of my walls. ;)

Lovely page! I like the simplicity and contrast of the large Chinese character with the small quote. The red and black make your page very striking.
