oh yes yes yes. we sure do love our country.

I am not Aussie born and bred but I have been here 20 years and feel completely Australian. my kids are true blue Aussie born and I am so proud of that.

We may live far far away but it sure is a great country and has been very good to me and mine.

great layout

Gorgeous photos...I really appreciate seeing scenery photos from other countries so I am thrilled to be able to see "your" country. The poem is so wonderful. The photos are so pretty I can see why you call it home. Thanks for taking me to Australia!!!

First, I love the design of this layout ... very striking colors and elements - it all works so well together. I fell in love with Australia when I saw the movie "The Man From Snowy River" in 1982, and I was determined after seeing where it was filmed that I was going to see it with my own eyes! My sweet hubby made that dream come true when he sent me on a trip to your beautiful country in 2004. I stayed with a friend in Coffs Harbour I had met online and known for 6 years. Her family welcomed me warmly ... in fact, everywhere I went strangers were so welcoming ... they loved my accent! LOL - funny, I love to listen to the Aussies talk! Anyway, GREAT Layout!!

Awesome LO. The photos are wonderful; love the way you show them stacked casually. Your title word art is well done and the poem stitched and taped is the perfect journaling strip (I like the way the page lifts off the surface.) WELL DONE

Joanne!! Stop right now!!! This page had me in tears as soon as I woke up!! It is so wonderfully fabulously perfect for an Aussie page... Dorothea Mackellars poem is one of my favourites too as it captures our country so beautifully in verse and the photos you put with it just lift it to another level... I especially love the wheat and grass you added as they are so typical and the colour scheme is perfect. This is sooooo gorgeous!
