World Tour - Stone

If you ever get the chance, drive by Stonehenge in the dark or fog, it is a very spooky sight.

To create the bottom image I did the following. I copied my photo so I had two and linked them together. I clipped the top one to the mask for the frame and the bottom one to one of Brush Set: Peridot Pleasures Blenders Mini so I had soft edges. I turned the bottom photo black and white, merged it with the mask and then applied a blending mode. I tried them all to see which gave the best effect, I settled on Pin Light.

Super dooper page...I love what you did with the background layer..thanks for the tutorial too. That one is going in my favorites!

The dark frame really sets it off. The cluster is great too. There is just not much to dislike about this LO. Really nice.

I'm so glad you did Stonehenge, I was hoping it was not going to be left out.

You did a super job on the blending and I most certainly am going try your methods you explained here.

Love the background and that is a great font.

I also like the dark frame with your photo -- nice contrast! Thanks for the info on how you did the photo effect, too. It looks terrific. I like the simple design of the page and your always-wonderful cluster.

Oh, Valerie this is lovely! I love what you did with each photo and thank you for explaining how. You have created both a mystical and sunny page - it's gorgeous! As always, your embellishment cluster is superb and I really like your title and font, too.

My one regret after three visits to England is not being able to visit Stonehenge but you make me feel almost as if I have. :)

Lovely photo. I love that you blended it into the paper. The white background paper is beautiful and I like the texture.

I love your embossed background paper and the blended photo. This was also the perfect place for a lifted photo. Lovely layout!
