Watch Me Grow - Sept Slow Scrap week 1

First week complete! These photos are of my great nephew, Parks, at 1, 2, and 3 months. The journaling reads: When Elizabeth was a baby, her mother (probably at my urging), decided to take a picture of her each month. This idea wasn't original; I'm sure I saw it in a scrapbook magazine. She was posed with a huge stuffed panda, so we could see how much she had grown.

Now Heather is following this tradition with Parks. Each month he is "measured" beside the snake I knit for his uncle, years ago.

The blanket in the two photos is the one I knit for Parks.

Supplies are in EXIF. The layout was scrap lifted by Carol (Ande43), Brannt Ryan at Edison. I really liked the angled papers and alternating patterns and solids. Thanks for the inspiration, Carol!

Awwww.. How sweet and your photos are adorable Jo! And, I really like your knitted snake and how cool that the baby has it from his dad! I also like your quilted background - it looks great! :)

What a great idea to track Parks's growth each month, and how sweet that they are using the snake you knit. Love how colorful this layout is, perfect for a growing boy!

I love the paper strips and the way they match your snake and the quilts. Cute photos. I like the way each is labelled. Lovely layout.
