I LOVE old photos like this and I really love your treatment of this one! The effect of the stacked papers and folders is perfect and love the strip, one doesn't notice it at first: "you are where i come from . . ." Fascinating, isn't it (and a little sad), that without our great-grands, we wouldn't be who or where we are, but few of us know much about them but a name. Wonderful layout as always, Jode!

My most favorite part is the ric rac underlining the journaling and the title. It is perfect! Layering is beautiful too. Well done.

Great job with the heritage photo and making it into a special page. You may not know who is in it the photo but at least you preserved the memory as you know it. other wise it's lost forever.

Goodness the blue mix is lovely with this old photo. Don't those old photos hide some history. So sad we can't get to it but this is a lovely way to keep what you do have.

Clever to use blue as a vintage treatment...may have to scraplift you on this one!
