Here is a picture of my grandparents - we called them Nana and Poppop.

 

My grandparents lived in Austin, Texas, so we did not get to see them very often. As a little girl I remember several train trips from Michigan to Texas to visit them. Poppop was quite the character with many jokes and silly songs. Nana was more quiet, gentle, and very kind. I remember being the second one up one morning, finding that Nana was already up, dressed and mopping floors. She did that every morning!
