Right page of two, snippets of DD's life from infancy to almost current. Supplies, including Jennifer's Pocket Life card template, are in the EXIF file.

The journaling reads:

Karin was born in Seoul, Korea. A foster mother cared for her until we brought her home to Okinawa. She soon became a big sister to Mari. When she was four, Karin became an American citizen.

She attended schools in Nebraska, New Hampshire, Colorado, and Maryland. Karin and Mari both earned the Girl Scout Gold Award in 1987. Karin graduated from Frostburg University in 1994 and became a teacher. She and Brian married in October of 2000, and became parents to David and Elizabeth.

The biggest challenge for this pair of pages was choosing sample photos from a forty-plus year time period. I hope karin will like my choices!

Oh Jo this is priceless! What a treasure to have your life so beautifully created into scrapbook pages and to share in Karin's life from it's beginning to her own role as Mom! I so enjoyed your photos and choices and of course, remember seeing David and Elizabeth (the cat!) in your layouts. How nice to read about their Mom. Your two pages are gorgeous and a special gift, I would love to see Karin's face as she pores over her pages. (Now you know of course you will have to eventually make one for Mari, too!) :)

Yes, Marilyn, I should make one for Mari - although I've already made her a rather fat wedding album. For Karin, I've made albums for the kids, and some family pages, but these are the first for her, except for her first experience of snow. And the to-do list gets longer . . .

I so enjoyed getting know your family through these pages - what a wonderful assortment of photos to tell your story... love the photos of Karin as a baby, it must be so wonderful for her to be able to see how special she was from day one to you. Delightful!

Great two page layout Jo. You captured the timeline beautifully with pictures and your journaling. I struggle with multiple photos and PL...but this came together seamlessly! What a treasure this will be for Karin. Thank you for sharing!
