Nov 2014 Forum Game Week 2 - Art Journaling: "Thanks..."

This layout might look a bit familiar because it was the first one I created for my Art Journaling task 1! Although I tried to keep it "simple", I got carried away playing and was afraid of scaring off those trying Art Journaling for the first time so I created the one I posted earlier in the week and left this one for now.

Journaling reads:

Journaling reads:

"In my earliest memories I loved being outdoors. The beach, ocean or any kind of water lulls and comforts me. I have felt energy in mountains and warmth in the sun… I see beauty in flowers and trees... To me, nature is a pharmacy where I can be soothed, uplifted, energized or awed. All of it just by being in the beautiful world of nature. I am thankful for that every time I am."

For this layout I used:

ABR Capturing Life Template

TCS Naturescape Collection Mini

CRO Sea Life's Beauty Collection Mini

ABR SS Embellishment Templates: Title It: Beach

MRE Brush Set: Drop Hearts

DEB Altered Art Paper

BMU Coastal Collection Biggie

SNU Snow Globe

TCS Friendship Brush

SNU By the Sea (Shel)l

CRO Shabby Shores (Shell)

DEB Spa Collection (Shell)

CRO Feeling Thankful Collection (Leaf)

I am glad you told us you revamped your original, I actually thought someone else did a nature page, too- duh! Love the additions you made to this page, there is so much detail and your blending is beautiful.

Beautiful. I love all the art work scattered about. The journaling is beautiful and so moving. I can just see you out in nature wandering around and taking everything in.

Yes this is a gorgeous page, so much to see in it and to "FEEL"... this is like a more grown up version of the other one! Lots of lovely detail to look at here, you add so many little pieces in for us! Love the grungy pieces too :-)
