For challenge , I used options 3, mixed with BMU Ultimate Artist Action and for challenge 2, I blended both photos into my background and with a soft round brush and a low opacity followed by using the eraser tool softened the edges of my dancers. I used decay brushes for my grunge effect using different colours and blended them in and applied some drop shadows to give them some depth, finished with challenge 4 which is my journaling:

El baile flamenco is known for its emotional intensity, proud carriage, expressive use of the arms and rhythmic stamping of the feet .As with any dance form, many different styles of flamenco have developed. In the twentieth century, flamenco danced informally at gitano weddings and celebrations in Spain was considered the most authentic form of flamenco. There is less virtuoso technique in gitano flamenco, but the music and steps are fundamentally the same. The arms are noticeably different from classical flamenco, curving around the head and body rather than extending, often with a bent elbow.

Wow, your page is magical Marie and looks like a work of art! Great job on the photo and your blending is so beautiful. I really like your soft background and the addition of embellishments and title. Good for you for completing all tasks and thanks for the info too!

I love the artistic effects on your photo! They "flatten" the dancers, which emphasize the outlines of their bodies. Clever to add the dotted swirls, too, for the same reason. Great job! Thanks, too, for the interesting journaling info.

I too love the emphasis you gave the dancers - the colours in the costume normally attract our attention but the focus here is on the line of the dancers' bodies... with added style and movement added with the swirls... Very clever technique! Enjoyed the journalling too as I didn't realise there were different forms of flamenco...Fabulous page!
