Merry Christmas, Jane! I love your card! Actually Santa dresses like that in my area, too (the semi tropical part of the US) so he looks quite natural. :)

Oh, stop - it was 40 degrees (F) and rainy for Christmas here. I just love that Santa, though and the beach scene you made with him.
