Beautifully composed and fabulous aj page! I'm especially impressed by how you've managed to show different shades of black! Love the touches of glitter, too. I'm also studying your font choices for inspiration.

Sure hope so, Jody and so happy for you to have a better January this year. Your page is so graphic and really shows the black blahs of your previous years. You used color, texture and words so wonderfully and they really express what you are trying to show. I really like the fonts you used and most especially the glitter on the positive words - there's hope, right? I especially like the bits of glitter scattered around your layout - almost like bits of your positive spirit bubbling up through the bad times. Lovely work.

Here's to good months! I like your color palette. The fuchsia makes the page come alive. Like that January clip. I've always been one to keep my darker thoughts to myself, wouldn't even journal for fear of it being read. Thanks for your encouragement.

Wonderful! I love the texture of the paint and the touch of purple. I also like the gradient on the journaling and the little bit of glitter. I couldn't make this chat but I hope to make the next one.

Amazing to me--where do I start? Love the textures you used with black to convey those dreary January's of the past and the white plaster in the foreground covering over the "blah's" (good word Marilyn). Love the purple sparkles of hope peeking through and the lyrics you've selected (including the fonts). Your brilliant use of layering is simply amazing to me. Very well done, Jody.
