Fantastic layout! I love what you did with the View-Master slide wheel. It looks so real that I want to pick it up off the page and drop it into my View-Master... LOL! :)

Great use of the supplies on this layout! I love the way you used the snowflakes, and the photo slide came out so cute. Great job!

Fun - the reel of ornaments is wonderful! (my dh saw that on your LO and really liked it!) And the snowflakes are so cool too!

Great job on the challenge! Thanks for playing!

I'll disclose my secret on getting the text on the viewmaster like the actual thing - i went to google images, found a scan of a viewmaster wheel. Actually I found a few, so I picked the highest quality one. I dropped it into my layout and decreased the opacity so I could see the blank wheel underneath. I then transformed the size and rotation to match the blank as good as I could. Then I added text layers, duplicating, and rotating them, after picking a close font style and size. Then I cut out the section of the google image that had the trademark info on it cause I couldn't make that look right. I deleted all color in that piece, so only the text remained. Then I deleted the remainder of the google image.

I merged all the text layers and decreased the opacity a bit so they would take on a little texture and look like they were printed on the blank originally.

Getting the pictures in was just a matter of resizing, cutting, and rotating until they looked ok.

Wow - that's amazing! Thanks for sharing your secrets. It's amazing what you can do with the internet and Photoshop if you just have an imagination. You did a great job on this LO! I too got this Christmas set and now I have some good ideas what to do with it.

:toot: loved the LO and your idea for the viewmaster is great.. you know you all have such great imaginations. I don't know if I will ever be able to do this to this magnitude.. I have hardly any imagination. I am a straight from the instruction, recipie kind of girl.. but I am going to give this a try. not this LO but maybe one day could do one like this .... thanks for the idea though :toot:
