Thanks for looking!

The girls labeled gummy gingerbread men with the names of our family. They had Bob and Joseph working on the roof. Thomas had a candy laptop. They put a sparkle on Cathrine's finger since she was sporting a new diamond ring. Maybe not the prettiest gingerbread house we've ever had, but it was so fun watching their creativity.

And Addy wasn't so keen on Joseph unless he was playing the guitar (and singing Brazilian love songs), then she danced and was his fan.

December 21-23

Sunday we had dinner with the family after church, then we decorated the gingerbread house. Bob and Joseph worked on the roof, but we ran out of Necco shingles. Annette and Charlotte finished the decorating and found a clever way to keep us from needing to buy more candy. I love that the kids are so imaginative. Monday we went to Nordstrom, the Rack, Kitchen Kaboodle, Costco and Winco, then stopped and Mill End and Michael's on the way home. I made fudge and caramels. Tuesday Thomas had an appointment and we did his Christmas shopping after it. I picked up some candy boxes, finished dipping the peanut butter balls, packed the boxes and we got them out that evening. Still way less work than cookie baking. I didn't get photos, but they look pretty much the same as last year
