Ole Blue Eyes

Even though Paul Newman is no longer with us, he still makes me sigh whenever I see him in movie. The first movie of his that I saw was 'The Long Hot Summer'. That first scene where you see his face and those gorgeous blue eyes just made me sigh. I think I saw that movie about ten times that year. It was 1959 and I was a teenager of thirteen years. He always was and always will be my Number One actor. Even in his last movie 'The Road To Perdition' (2002) he was still a gorgeous man. What a hunk. He was born January 26, 1925 and passed away September 26, 2008. When I worked at 20th Century Fox Film Corp., I worked in their New York office. He came in one day and I froze. I couldn't believe that he was there in front of me in person. I couldn't move. All I could do was stare at him. I was in Seventh Heaven.

You have created a lovely page with all those photos. One of his later movies that I enjoyed his acting in was The Verdict.
