Weekend Challenge--Seeing deer at White Memorial

It's still cold and snowy but I decided to take the grandchildren on a hike. We had to stay on the packed paths where the snowshoers and skiers were or we we up to my knees in snow. We came across a mother deer and her twin youngsters...Priceless. The kids were so excited to see them in the wild...that was a small thing that they will remember forever...I know I will.

Love the framing Debby! The masked photo looks great against the orange background. I like the border of stripes along the top. Great memory captured. Thank you for sharing.

This is very early for fawns. I've been here and it is a wonderful place. Love you photo and the mask you used on it. Neat frames, too.

What a wonderful experience. Love the mask and the multiple frames - and the little check box to let us know for sure, yep, that's winter! Hat's off to you for getting outdoors. I'm afraid I send them out to do their snowball fights and stay inside making hot chocolate!

What a great moment! I'm glad you were able to get it on camera. It's fun seeing you on land, too, LOL.

I love the warm orange background you chose, and your creative framing is terrific. Wonderful page.

This is wonderful!!! I am crazy about how you blended and framed your main photo. The orange BG really makes this photo pop and your careful placement of the embellishments adds the perfect touch. Great page!

the frames almost give me the feeling that I could walk down several paths, great that you got to hike with your grandkids. And I will have to look again at what you used so I can try it too!
