Faces Of Autumn

This is my first layout for the Art Journaling Chat & Challenge. I have another page in mind, that I dreamt of last night.

 

This is the journaling on my page: Autumn is my favorite season. I look forward to it every year and always marvel at the splendor of the leaves changing their color from green to Russet, Gold, Red, Orange, Purple, and Yellow. It's a marvelous time of year when you can smell the changes in the air. From hot and muggy to cool with a slight nip in the air. Ahhh, I can breathe again. Autumn brings back memories of my childhood when you would smell the burning of the leaves in the air.

 

Halloween is just around the corner when all the ghouls, goblins and witches make an appearance. Bats fly high in the sky and black cats slink around the yard.

Carol, you did a great job scrapping the weather changes of Autumn - the smell of the air, the temperature and even the feel of it all. I love your background and blending and your colors are so warm and cozy. Glad you made your first page and made the chat and thanks for adding your lovely creation to the Art Journaling Gallery.

Wow, Carol! This is a beautiful page. I love the composition, especially the gracefulness of the branches. I like the way you added a face in the upper right. Lovely journaling, lovely colors, lovely elements. Fall is my favorite season, too.

What a stunning tree! I love the colours and how you contrasted it over all those more traditional autumn colours... The lady looking on is very mysterious but I like it! Love that journalling- even if I was confused about Halloween as it is autumn here now - and we don't even have Halloween lol... Thanks for taking our challenge, you did a great job!
