As I was going through my suitcase, I found this forgotten layout!

I was taking a "Photo to Watercolor" online class and this was as far as I got. So, in seeing a few Big Ben layouts and the real thing in London I decided to use this. The photo was taken from the London Eye as the sun was setting and then I used part of the technique on it.

I thought the quote was especially appropriate after reading Carol's info about Big Ben, particularly its taking some war-time hits.

Journaling reads:

"Every great work of art has two faces, one towards its own time and one towards the future, toward eternity. Lester Bangs"

For this layout I used"

Gorgeous! The photo does look like a watercolor and I love how the sunset colors blend into the blue. The baroque borders add a beautifully elegant touch to the page as well. Great quote!

This is really interesting. Love the lighter "highlight" above the buildings. Love the lacy top and bottom borders. They give the feel of elegance. Nice.

Its amazing the awesome photos you get from the London Eye and this is fabulous. Just love the watercolour effect you have given this LO :)
