I had fun with this although I'm not sure if this fits the art journaling style. I still struggle with this genre.

Oh Katie your page made me smile big and can I feel the love radiating from it. Your use of color and texture is amazing and I really love the bright cheery delight you created here - just as children are. Your journaling is so eloquent and descriptive and I like how you laddered down the layout. Awesome work and thanks for sharing this part of you in the Art Journaling Gallery.

Love all the textures and colors you used!! Your words are so true, they are only little for so long... They won't remember the cobwebs, they will remeber the times spent with their wonderful Grandmother.

this is wonderful Katie Grace and that's a wonderful knowledge to possess ... the people I see who don't seem to be enjoying their time with their kids just makes me so sad ... you did this so well ... congrats on this creative AJ

So true! Childhood goes so fast and then they are teens and then adults. Childhood seems so far behind to most of us, so I'm happy that you have learned to become a child again with your grandkids. Love the variation of color and the blended photos on your paper.
