Thursday Challenge - Earth Day Loblolly

Originally the Outer Banks were just sand with sea grasses but they decided to plant these trees to help hold the soil in place because the constant wind was eroding the barrier islands. I found them to be quite spectacular.

Beautiful shot...love this perspective, so majestic. The row of stitching along the bottom is a great way to old it all in. Beautifully done...love it.
