The wide variety of tools from the Tool Time Collection Mini were perfect to highlight all the different things my dad did.

Journaling:

Along with all the raking, mowing, tilling and all-around fix-up work around the house, Dad found time and did the following:

* Added a 20 foot by 7 foot room addition behind the garage in Roseville

* Made concrete steps

* Poured concrete for blocks to create a 10 foot by 20 foot patio in Roseville

* Built 3 pine shelves

* Built a wooden playhouse

* Installed a bathroom in a closet for the master bedroom

* Made a clothes chute

* Planned and completed a basement remodel that included making shelving and walls from existing paneling, and moving an old kitchen from upstairs to downstairs

* Built a huge deck

* Planned and built an extra bedroom downstairs

* At age 63, excavated by hand shovelful by shovelful a 6 feet by 5 feet by 4 feet hole for a basement egress window for the new bedroom

* Built an extra room onto their stationary vacation trailer

* Drafted precise blueprints for a basement remodel for our home (see journaling mat)

Wow, your Dad is amazing Sue and I can't imagine how he had time to sleep! Wonderful journaling and way to document your Dad's "extracuricular activities" - I am in awe of all he could do! I really like how you set up your page and used the pieces of the collections on your page and photo. Your extraction is wonderful and I like how you fit it so seamlessly into your design. I especially like the tag you added to your Super Dad.

Oh wow! There is so much I love about this layout it's hard to know where to begin! Your journaling is wonderful, and I love how you used the blueprint underneath it. The combination of the green and wood to make the checkered paper is a great idea! The tape measure border you created! Love that and the way you arranged your embs to show all of the different tasks and jobs your father does is amazing! Super layout! Great use of all of these collections!
