What color dress do you think my grandma was wearing in her 1932 wedding photo? Kristine, my lovely daughter-in-law, modeled it 81 years later. It was something old, something borrowed, and something blue.

What a beautiful page! I love everything about it. Wonderful photos and I love how you mixed the b&w photos with the color photo. Love the wonderful layering, texture, and how you scattered the blue hearts around the page. Fantastic title and journaling too. Thanks for taking part in the challenge!

When I saw this on the blog I thought "How cool!" Your daughter-in-law looks lovely in your grandma's beautiful wedding dress. I love your page, especially circular arrangement of your photos and journaling with that beautiful cluster. Eye-catching and romantic. By the way, I'm guessing that, in 1932, they were trying to be practical when she chose blue. Many brides back then borrowed dresses, so it's great that your grandma had her own and was able to keep it to pass down.

Oh my this is so special in so many ways, Sue. How wonderful to have your Grandma's wedding dress and I do remember my Mom saying her Mom talked about women wearing colors as their wedding gown and it's funny how we wouldn't know that just from the pics. Your photos are wonderful and your extraction is great. You created a really special page about this family treasure, it's gorgeous.
