Project Life, week20-2015
journaling:
What an incredible week! Sunday evening our choir presented an hour-long concert.
We’d been working on it since February, and it was made up of about 14 pieces,
99% memorized. The lyrics were on the screen, but that didn’t excuse us from
missing notes or rests. Tim, our director, hired professional musicians to accompany
us and I got to sing my first lead solo, backed by the choir and band: “We Believe,”
recorded by The Newsboys. The next night we did most of the show again at The
Nashville Rescue Mission. Just an amazing, humbling experience.
Thursday was Red Nose Day! We really wanted to participate, but all the area
Walgreen’s had run out of noses. Scrap Girls to the rescue! I used Cherise Oleson’s Funny Face Add Ons to give us all red noses.
I also made a donation, even though there were no noses to buy.
Saturday we left for Illinois for our big anniversary trip, but the pictures will be
in next week’s layout.
