June MB Game Nature LO1

I can't believe it's almost 10 months since Chris & Sisi's wedding. This was a good chance to scrap another page for them.

Some people have asked about the Chinese Character on the tag. It is "double happiness" and used in Chinese weddings. If you look closely (kinda hard this small) you can see it's actually a Chinese "happiness" character - twice!

It doesn't show here, but Sisi so wanted something to greet her parents, particularly her Mom in the Church that would be familiar. So, I designed a "double happiness" huge banner that Chris' Mom had made and hung there for them to see. (They came from China for the wedding, spoke only Chinese and this was their first trip abroad.)

Needless to say, they were delighted with the banner and it was a really nice touch.

For this layout I used:

BMU SS DLO Album Templates 12x12 Grunge Blocks

BMU SS Paper Templates: Edgers Biggie

EBA Dogwood Days Collection Mini

and my own photos

Beautiful photo! I love the soft colors and beautiful pinks and reds of the page. The Asian theme looks wonderful and is, of course, appropriate for Sisi and her family. I love your blending and the way the darker edging gives a frame to the whole page.

Lovely page, Marilyn! This collection is perfect for the beautiful photo, and I love the way you framed the picture. And yes, the tag is a wonderful touch.

This is just so pretty. I really love the symbols on the tag. The dogwood branches and petals look so elegant sized tiny like that! Those templates work perfectly to blend the papers.

Beautiful page and well done, Marilyn. Your flower clusters are so elegant and pretty. Love the paper you used for the mask frame. Great collection you selected for the photo.

What a gorgeous page, Marilyn. I love everything about it ... the colors, blending, the photo staging across the top - everything working together for a perfect page!!

Loved reading your background story on the "double happiness" symbol. How thoughtful for it to be prominently placed for the wedding. Beautiful photo, and lovely page.
