journaling:

Sunday morning the VBS kids sang two songs in church: “My God is Powerful” and “Power Shuffle”. They were great and it was rewarding to see the things they had learned last week.

We are on round #2 of baby robins! Mama Robin has been busy!

Dave and I took a drive and found Long Hunter State Park and Couchville Lake. There is fishing and boating, picnic areas, and a long walking trail. We explored a bit and right in front of us were three young deer. They were very tame, and of course, protected, so they weren’t bothered by people at all.

That night I enjoyed the one ripe blackberry that had survived on my bushes. There are more growing, but this one was extra special!

Another group of baby birds, wow, she is busy! How cool to be able to watch her this summer. Your berry looks yummy, I hope you get to enjoy more of them next time.
