Today Is the First Day . . .

This is sort of a two-for. When I finally checked the thread for yesterday's art journal chat, what popped into my head, besides tasks I needed to do, was this song. And the page is art journalist. Today's challenge was an ear worm - and the song's still running through my mind - hence, this page.

 

I wanted to include a music staff, but I can't figure out how to load brushes in PSE 13. There doesn't seem to be anything to click, I got no response from the help menu, and the Missing Manual doesn't include. it. I may need to go back to PSE 10! In the meantime, I used Ginny's Musical Mask 5, blended and with reduced opacity. All other supplies are in the EXIF file.

What a lovely page! I love your colors and the blended background with the music going through it. I especially like the butterflies. Beautifully done! And isn't it great when you can do two challenges with one layout?
