Birthday Week! On Monday I turned 61. Holy cow, 61 used to be OLD! Dave, his mom and I went to Famous Dave’s for dinner. Best ribs in town!
On Wednesday we drove down to Murfreesboro so that I could take pictures of this massive field of sunflowers. In the early summer it’s a U-Pick strawberry field, but now it’s just acres and acres of beauty! Afterward we stopped and picked up my new glasses. Hardly any difference from the old frames, but that’s fine with me!
Thursday Dave and I dropped Dusty off at the “spa” and set out for Knoxville, TN. It’s about 2 1/2 to 3 hours east of us, and we had tickets to see Garrison Keillor and his Prairie Home Companion show. We have listened to him for many years, and the show was fabulous! We had another birthday dinner beforehand at UnCorked, a wine bar at Market Square.
