Sept Forum Game - Vacation

Journaling reads:

During my early life our vacations were mostly day trips or maybe one overnight. My parents liked to go to lakes whenever they could, maybe because they lived in a city. After we moved to New Hampshire, we had several lakes to go to plus we lived near the Maine coast so we could spend the day there whenever we liked. We also went into New Hampshire’s White Mountains every year. As I got older we went away, usually for a weekend or even a week to Cape Cod. Of course we also visited our relatives in New York, and sometimes during my parents’ vacation time, they visited us.

The photo on the left, taken while we still lived in NY, was labeled Silver Lake Farm, which I believe is in rural New Jersey. The second photo was taken when we went with a group of friends to Bear Brook State Park in New Hampshire. The third photo was taken at Cannon Mountain, NH. The picture on the right was taken on Martha’s Vinyard.

Love the "outdoors" flavor that you've created in your LO w/ the B/W photos. Great photos--love the ones of you on the fire tower and at the Vineyard. You are so fortunate to have "sampled" so many different vacay spots. Your book is going to be a fabulous treasure.

Love this Diane! I really enjoyed reading about your childhood vacation adventures, somehow life was so much simpler and enjoyable back then and yours sound lovely. Your photos are awesome and I really like how you've used a pretty strip in different ways on your layouts - this one is perfect for an outdoor one! Beautiful page.
