Journalling:

March 2012

Today’s weather was gorgeous--52 F--so we took Sammy for a walk along the Vermillion River. The grass along the sidewalk was changing to green. We laughed at the noise level coming from the birds filling the trees. Born in South Florida, this was my boys’ first experience of the shift from dead winter to the re-growth of Spring. They were loving it!

Wonderful layout! I really like the way you used the frame and photo mask to lead the eye along the path into the photo. Great background blending, too.

That's such a clever idea...making the path start outside the frame so that you and Sammy look like you are walking into it and who knows what's around that corner. Great work.

This is beautiful Laura and there's so many parts I love about this page! Awesome photo and I love how the path spills down into the layout. Your blending is wonderful and I really like the gorgeous backgrounds and colors you chose, they look great! I enjoyed your journaling and love how you did it in a light color so that it also becomes a part of your design. Super page!

Wonderful photo. I especially like the light in it... and the shadows. So perfect for early spring! Pretty cluster and wonderful textures all help make this a gorgeous page.

Beautiful blue background paper and I love the mask that you used and the wonderful blending job that you did. Lovely flower cluster and I like how you colored the alpha and mixed a font in with the title.
