I worked at the camp that puts on the Lights of Christmas in Stanwood, WA for 7 years, before I was married and had my girls. The last 2 years I worked there we started doing the Lights... they're now in the 10th year and I've got two girls of my own that LOVE the Lights. It's so fun to see this from the stressed-I-know-how-much-work-it-takes-to-put-this-on adult side AND from the absolute wonder of a child. Anyway, this was my favorite Christmas memory this year... bringing my past and my present together to make new memories together. TFL!

one of my favorite things to do each year is
take the girls to the lights of christmas at
warm beach camp. there are more than one million
christmas lights. this year we got the pleasure
of taking my grandparents and stan’s parents
for the first time. this year was the 10th
year of the lights... and it seems like a
million years since i worked at the very
first year it opened! time slips by so fast!
