Project Life, week44-2015
Man oh man, this one gave me fits. I work better if I do it all in one sitting instead of leaving it for a few days.
Journaling:
Fall is here for sure. The days have turned chilly and gloomy, and that summer feeling is gone. I love getting out and driving around, and I happened on these big guys hanging out over by Nice’s Mill Dam. They were curious when I started taking pictures, but Big Brownie decided I was getting just a little too close. I took his advice and left.
I finally found the location of General Braxton Bragg’s headquarters. There isn’t much there but a split rail fence and markers, but it was a cool connection to stand where he once stood. He is my 2nd cousin 4 times removed.
On Saturday we celebrated Dave’s 61st birthday. Sarah came down from Nashville and the three of us went to Toot’s for lunch. It was funny that the sign behind him had what appeared to be a crown in it. That became his birthday crown! In the evening, he, his mom, and I went to La Tavola for a lovely Italian dinner.
