Weekend Challenge 2/6/16 - Alison and Auntie Sue

I’m stretching a bit -- while I’d like to see the Broncos win, I’ve chosen the Panther colors of blue, white and a little bit of black for my layout since I've wanted to scrap this photo.

Alison enjoyed being at Auntie Sue’s 90th birthday party in August and they had a lot of fun together. After Auntie Sue unexpectedly died a few weeks ago, Alison (now 7) drew this photo of her saying goodbye to her Great-Aunt. I love her "bye" talk bubbles and the arrow going up to heaven.

For this layout I used:

SNU Stories We Tell Collection Biggie

SNU SS Styles: Shadow Me

AFT SS Papers - Antique Edgers

and my own photo

This is my #hashtag challenge layout -

What a great page as a tribute to your aunt. How sweet that drawing is by Allison. Your aunt was obviously touched her heart. Special page.

I love the sketch and how you replicated them with the photo, showing us what they "really look like". What a wonderful drawing for a 7 year old, she is so eloquent and understanding. The arrow had me giggling tho I had to admit... Love how simple heaven is to find :-) gorgeous tribute and well done on the # too, I must remember that!!

What a fantastic memory! I like the hearts and the chevron that you stamped near her drawing. They're perfect digital accents to her drawing.
