Dad

These are photos of my Dad. He passed away when I was ten years old in 1957. He was my best friend and we went everywhere together. We went fishing, crabbing, to the movies, grocery shopping and watched television. I'd even go with him when he went to the junk yards looking for parts for our car. He had a great sense of humor, a small nose and big feet (that's where I get it from). I miss him terribly and he will be in my heart forever.

This is a wonderful tribute to your Dad and a lovely page! I especially like seeing the photos of him at different ages. He must have died way too young. I'm so sorry.

He was only about 47 when he passed away. He didn't believe in doctors and so the poison from the carbuncle on his back went to his heart and that was it. I believe it caused him to have a heart attack.

You've come up with a wonderful page with so much emotion included. I really love the half a torn heart, it is so expressive of your loss. A beautiful celebration of your Dad.

Sorry about your father, it's a terrible thing for such a young girl. This is a great page, though - such neat photos and I love the hearts.
