Right side of weeks 3&4 2016

I've been using my calendar to journal in, I end up with a lot of words. Maybe too much!

(If I fall behind, I'll at least have things documented, my "rememberer" doesn't always work well, lol!)

Journalling reads:

Jan 19: Quiet day with Asher. He just loves playing with a ball.

Jan 23: I tried to enjoy my afternoon with Xander. (Not feeling great) He slept a lot, and soon his Mom and Dad came for dinner. I made Zuppa Toscano for supper. Christina wanted to play cards, but I told them I wasn’t up for it. They ended up going to her Baba's house to see her cousin.

Jan 24: Yo had Dion and Christina over for supper, and then decided to invite Oma, Opa, Audrey and Uncle Al as well. Since she didn't think she could feed us all, she texted us if we'd like to bring dessert over, and have a little visit.

Jan 26: Ken has been working on Mark's bathroom, but still made time to play with the boys after he picked them up from school. Laura met Paul and Yo here for lunch so she could see the new baby. We had pasta for supper, Ken put the pot of leftover noodles on a chair, and Asher ate them all up!

Jan 28: I went with Christina and her Mom to see Dr. Child. We got some questions answered about Christina being pregnant and how to keep her and the baby healthy with high blood pressure.

Jan 30: We had a nice little visit with Yo and the boys; I was missing my little snuggler. Yo asked if we would stay for lunch, she had some yummy boerenkool! Asher wanted us to do a puzzle with him, then the boys all wanted to play outside with Papa.

Jan 31: They showed “the War Room” at church in the afternoon at 4:30. It certainly was a good movie, about prayer and relationships. Ken wanted to go to Yo’s with his newly bought Lego Dimensions figures for the boys to build (gift from Mark), but I wanted to head straight home, because I had supper ready on the stove. We went right after a quick bowl of pasta.

That's very true, Diane. It is our choice and blessing to be involved in our grandchildren's lives. But makes for an exhausted Oma sometimes, lol.
