Ah yes, Superbowl weekend when all sorts of mischief is afoot! I posted this funny meme to our church’s Facebook page and my friend Laini took it to heart. The pastor called me out during the sermon, and after church Laini doused him with a water bottle! It was all in good fun, and to be fair, he told her to ‘go for it’. So she did. I swear, the two of us together are bad news! LOL! Have I mentioned how much I love our new church?!

We had a blast watching the game, just Dave amd I, and I fried chicken wings for the first time ever. We usually toss them on the grill. For a side dish, I made Pioneer Woman’s onion strings. Oh mercy, they are delicious! Bad for you, but delicious nonetheless.

Denver won and we were so thrilled for Peyton Manning and his career accomplishments.

Monday evening we got dumped on with snow again, and this time we got almost 4 inches by the time it stopped. It made the roads messy, and Wednesday night it showed again while we were at church for Ash Wednesday service and a brief choir practice.

Dusty goes outside and sits for twenty minutes then has to come in and get warm. That’s MY side of the couch he has claimed ...

Mom had some setbacks this week. She had a cold, and an upset stomach, but when we were notified that she had refused to go to therapy all week we went over and had the proverbial “come to Jesus” meeting with her. We had to tell her that she can’t come home till she can get up on her feet and prove she can be more independent. She can be very stubborn, but guess what?

So can I. Stay tuned!
