Lizard On Trail



Saw this thing today on my walk: California Alligator Lizard (Elgaria multicarinata). I am not good with measurements but I believe it was about 10-12 in.

Fabulous page! I love the elements you added and how you've arranged everything. You are a braver woman than I to have photographed that lizard so closely -- it looks like it bites. :)

Ditto to all of the above! He (she?) is an elegant lizard - so long and sleek. I've never heard of this species. I suspect it's more likely to skitter away than bite, unless you truly aggravate it. Nice catch!
