Blossoms on a Snowy Morngin

I captured these pictures on April 9, when it snowed lightly in the morning. I chose not to add embellishments, or label the pictures because I thought it would be too busy.

The top left trees are dogwoods, one on the deck (with DH's feral cat trap, which has lately had no visitors) ant the other in the front yard. The lower left picture is a miniature Japanese red maple; behind it, and showing front of the dogwood, is nandina, which had already started to put forth in red spring leaves. The lower right is a clump of snowdrops; under them are red petals being shed by the winter-blooming camelia, which glowed just outside the carport; those blossoms are all gone now. Although the photos are wintery, the collection seemed to demand a pink background. If you look closely, you can see the subtle snowflakes from Elisha's Frosty Morning paper. These pictures were such fun to play with!

Supplies are in EXIF.

The snow give the photos a fairy tale look--just beautiful- I love dogwoods (never heard of a nandina before), really like the masking too.

Gorgeous. Love your choice of paper, Spring and Winter at the same time. Placement and size of the photos are very pleasing. Wlll done.
