SG Recipe Swap April 2016 "Grilled Halloumi"

Jody found this cheese for me and although new to me when I looked it up, it's quite the rage! The guy who sold it to her explained how to prepare it and since I don't eat meat, we took this to a barbie and it was delicious eaten on a roll as you would a patty. The cheese has a firm texture and I was unbelieving but it really can be grilled or fried. It's my new favorite food!

For this recipe card I used:

ViVa Australiana Collection

(not because the cheese is Australian, it's actually Greek; but because that's where I was introduced to it.)

Very interesting recipe. I'll have to give it a try! The red color is very intense and makes you think of grilling
