Here’s my layout using the Mixing Patterns Tutorial. I used Method one “Pair Large Prints with Small Prints” and also added a Mat as in Method 2.

This is Jody and I at the outdoor mall in Adelaide. Callan did a great job taking this photo!

For this layout I used:

CRO Springtime Watercolor Collection

SNU SS Embellishment Templates: On a Whim Frames

SNU SS Styles: Shadow Me

BMU SS Templates: Background Blenders 4

BHA Camp Trip Word Art

and Callan’s photo

Wonderful. It is so nice to see both of you together. I am so happy that you were able to travel to Jody's wedding because you have been friends for so long. Great job blending and mixing patterns.

Oh Marilyn, this is so pretty! I love the soft colors, like watercolors! I'm so happy you got to meet your down under BFF! Sweet LO!

Precious photo! Marilyn, beautiful work with this collection...love the larger print paired w/ the smaller. Perfect frame too. You could print this one and frame in a 4x6 or 5x7. Beautiful friends!

The mixed patterns look great together and I like how you used a pastel color palette to keep them from dominating the photo. Super job!

Awwww... what a lovely LO -- and what a nice pic of you and Jody! I love polka dots in just about any setting, and putting them here with the floral banner on top/bottom was a perfect balance. :-)
