SS British Yeoman

I thought this was going to be a black and white layout, ha ha, nope! I blended 3 papers, color and linear burned just about everything, cropped a paper into a journal mat, and was lucky enough to find the photo online through an Australian site (the Auzzie ship sailed from Newcastle NSW to S.F.). I still have to research how, and why, my grandfather went from Sweden to Australia. I have found out I can't rely on most stories he told my dad!

Isn't it interesting how layouts sometimes have a life of their own? Your "black and white" page turned out beautifully. I think it wanted these warm tones. :D Fascinating journaling, too. I hope you learn more!
