This is the Kea a native bird to NZ. My DS used to look after them when he worked at Auckland Zoo :)

Interesting bird and pretty large. I appreciate you telling us about them. I think your page is a great tribute to the bird. The background is super withthe natural colors.

I've never heard of Kea before, what a unique bird! I really like touches of color on top of the photos. Thanks for joining the challenge!

Great shots you have caught here Jane!! When I saw Kea in the gallery I knew this was your LO. :-)

Shall I add a few extra tidbits on this rascal bird!!! We have them in the wild not far from us in Arthurs Pass National Park. You have to be VERY aware of these fellows because their game time is pulling the rubbers and window wipers out of cars when people stop to look at the scenery!! The also LOVE anything shiny so don't put anything down for a moment. They are very friendly and get people off guard.

How fabulous! That certainly is an interesting bird. I just love how you've arranged this with the 2 framed photos and the larger one softly blended for your BG! I assume that bug in the corner is an embellishment. I also like your paint smudges, especially the one in front. It looks a bit like grass.
