Scrap Simple Double Up challenge

I've been making hybrid journals where you print the pages out and bind them. This is pretty much how I do a double page spread for a travel journal.

the base paper and embellishments are from D's Designs On the Road multipack. The edge template is from Syndee's Fragmented templates (the letter sized has been discontinued, but the 12x12 version is still in the boutique). I used Syndee's Vintage Maps styles on the edge template.

I often leave the background plain and print on cream colored paper. It needs at least 24 pound; 32 pound is better.
