Using embellishments and getting the proportions right is still a challenge for me. Also, I haven't done too many masculine LOs so that was another challenge for me. When I was little my dad taught photography. Sometimes he would show slides with me in the picture. He would ask the students, what is the subject of the picture. They would reply, girl. He would ask them again. They would then reply, Kelly! lol! Thus, Dad is the subject!

I'm always interested to see how people scrap heritage photos because I'm always in need of inspiration, LOL. Your page is wonderful! I'm keeping it for my folder of inspirations. I love the pastel background and the camera (of course :) ) but especially the way you've tied the blended photo to the main one using scribble circles, string and buttons. Very clever.

Great quote and I love your anecdote about "the subject", too. :)

That is such a sweet story and memory Kelly and no wonder your photos are so wonderful after watching your Dad when you were younger. Hard to believe you haven't done many masculine layouts, you aced this one.
