Tuesday Challenge 2/17/17 "Swing!"

When I was at my sister's in October I'd sometimes join her and Neva for their lunchtime walk which brings them around the YMCA and a park with swings! Even as an adult, I love swings and it always brings out the child in me.

Journaling reads:

I love swings and anytime I see one, hop right on and start pumping. I love the free and airy feeling as I sail back and forth through the sky and it brings back happy memories of swinging as high as I could on the beach swings as a child. My sister likes to take photos of me swinging, not an easy feat with the swing moving quickly back and forth before and after her shots! On this particular day we were taking Neva for her lunchtime walk when I started swinging. It makes me smile to see Neva watching and the half photos of me, but it’s the next exchange that really makes me laugh. I decided I wanted a “sister” photo so started trying to climb behind Judi for an interesting pic. Look how well that turned out, but at least we got a nice photo! :D

I have to ask: Did Neva the Dog take that great photo??? Naw, probably not, but it's a good one!

Haha, funny DIane and very perceptive! Judi's friend walked with us and actually is swinging next to me, but I had to crop her or the pics would've been too tiny. So, she took the ones of the two of us! :)

What fun photos!! I love the story you included with them, too. I love your sister's shirt, lol! I'm a sucker for anything baseball, you know.

Oh isn't it great when we can indulge the child within us!! I love seeing you and your sister on the swings Marilyn!!

I am grinning a little bit though because is this a photo in the future or is it a wee typo "October 2017"!! :-)

THANKS, Ngaire - great eyes! And, yes it's a typo, but I do hope to play on those swings in the future. It's all fixed now I appreciate your telling me. :)

Love this and your jouranling tells the story so well. My granddaughter is crazy about swings also. So I found this page very special. Love the way you were able to use so many photos and not mess up the page. Great job.
