More amazing: despite docks, huge ferries, etc., the water looks crystal clear, reflecting turquoise. We could see fish at least 10 – 20 feet down, which struck me as very unusual for any major harbor. We were all pooped, following the marginal sleep on the train, so we decided to skip the aquarium and head on down the coast to Vernazza.
