This seems a bit "Plain Jane" amongst all the beautiful AJ creations, Doing a bit of catching up, this is my large photo challenge. My element uniqueness was that I made the mask that the photo is clipped to from a cloud that was floating outside a couple of days ago.

Before I read your notes above I was marvelling at your page and gorgeous photo - what an interesting hill and rock formation. I read your quote and again was touched by how perfect (& true) it is and thought of how nature always grounds me. THEN, I looked at your overall layout and how well you used patterns (hopeless for me) and color. And, then I read you notes. No Plain Jane here - it's really lovely Ngaire.

And, OH! Of course I missed the part of your "unique" embellishments - how cool that your mask was made from a real cloud. Wow, that's so awesome and I think you win the prize for unique. :)

OH indeed - this is a stunning page. Using the cloud as a mask is pure genius, and the quote is perfect advice to remember. But what caught my eye first - before I enlarged the image and read your notes - was the image. To me, the top of the hill looked like the face of a mouse, and I could not figure it out!

Love your blue and yellow palette; a wonderful backdrop for your photo. How innovative of you to use a cloud for a mask. Very creative - and beautiful.
