Journaling: "I was not a dog person! Dogs jump on you, they lick your face, they bark, they play outside & leave muddy footprints on your floor. And then you have to worry if they were going to go psycho and eat you! What was there to like about dogs? ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!" "And then came the day that Kyle left his truck door open overnight. When we woke up the next morning-there was a DOG in the truck! And of course, Jakob, the child who likes dogs even less than I do, falls in LOVE! The reason he fell? The dog didn't jump on him lick him or bark at him!! HMMMM She just sat on the ground and wagged her tail and grinned at him! So of course, we put up ads all over town, and just my luck-no one claimed her! We took her to the vet and other than ear infections, she was in perfect health! We bring her into the house on the condition that she get along with the 4 cats...Sure enough, we became the owners of a FABULOUS dog, who happens to get along with the cats, rarely barks, doesn't lick people, doesn't jump on people - was HOUSEBROKEN - doesn't like to be outside, unless to go potty. She is the calmest dog I've ever met. All she wants to do is be a cat! She is a 50 pound lap dog. Needless to say...I am now also... a dog person...well, a Princess Fiona person, anyway
